So far he's the same old grumpy guy. He's still out of touch with the real world but that's what makes the show.

I love this show -I became a supporter so i can help present this show and many other shows-I think doc M artin is slowly softing a little but still maintains his views and comments about what he thinks about the general population which is not always positive but that is what makes him so watchable

Well, he got the diagnosis wrong. All the clues were there but he blamed the wrong culprit for the boy's broken leg and other symptoms.

This event sounds fun! I can go back in time, I would probably be here. I remembered when I was young my parents were so conscious of my teeth. Hahaha! They would not let me eat plenty of sweets.

I hear you, but again, as a parent, it seems to me the converation should be between parents and teachers, not just teachers talking with one another and describing the "problem." It seems to me the truly valueable conversation, one that has the potential to move things forward, should be between the people who should have the most at stake - parents and teachers.

I would call that the homefront - the source of winning and losing - when the homefront is lost the war is lost. The frontlines are the classroom - where it all comes together. Where community is formed and the future is made.

I am concerned that the program introduction characterized the "front lines" as the classroom. As a parent, I think the true front-line is the. Home and community are not in the primary business of helping teachers "do their jobs." Teachers and schools should see themselves as having the role of working with parents, in partnership, to accomplish the particular goals of educating our community's children.

The teacher from Metro High School has mentioned both curriculum revision and "Beowolf". I wondering if at Metro he would be given the autonomy to adapt the curriculum in ways that makes Beowolf meaningful to his students but showing how the plot corresponds to aspects in their own lives etc. How about the curriculum at Rosevelt?

The event was awesome and we had runners from out of town.
One family came from Tennesse, another from Kansas and one from Oklahoma. We expect the event to be bigger and better next year. The scheduled date for next year is May 5, 2011 in Tower Grove Park.
